Who I am

Hi! I am Tana Lee Gorecki of Tana Lee Designs. I am a 21 year old artist, writer, and model who is consistently learning and perfecting my craft. I am currently a senior at Montana State University Northern in Havre, Montana. I am majoring in Graphic Design and Liberal studies, and have graduated with an Associates degree in Art.

My experiences vary within the Graphic Design world as I have taken many classes to obtain my degree. I have been able to expand my knowledge and understanding of multiple different applications used in graphic design. Some of the applications I have been able to gain knowledge of include Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Rush, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Canva. Each of these skills help me to be a well rounded designer, and I am always looking to learn and expand my knowledge into new applications as well.

Some of my accomplishments include the many art shows I have taken part in throughout my high school and college career such as Harlowton High School’s yearly art shows, and MSU-Northern’s yearly spring art shows. I have also received third runner-up in a poster art competition for the Red Ant’s Pants Music festival in White Surfer Springs, Montana.

Some of the graphic jobs I have been a part of include working as a brand manager for MaRecki Sweets, a small family-run caramel business, an Ad Sales Consultant and Graphic Designer for the Blaine County Journal, a local news paper in Chinook, Montana, T-shirt Designer for Montana Actors Studio, and as a Graphic designer for Bookstr.com.

Projects in the future include writing, illustrating, and publishing a children’s book A Goat Called Wilma. A painting series titled The Joys Of Womanhood is also currently in the running for the Future Generation Art Prize.
